A team of volunteers from Ren helped at PVD Fest this weekend. Providence’s world-renowned art, culture and culinary community join forces with artists from across the country and globe to deliver a fantastic experience.

On Sunday afternoon we had an awesome time playing kickball with some of the families from Ren!

We love partnering with local organizations that are doing great work in our city. One of those is the Southside Community Land Trust, which is right down the street from us.

Spark, our youth group for 6th to 9th grade, meets every Sunday during the first service for Bible study, prayer, and discussion. They have also been going on monthly outings to have fun and connect with each other.

One of our Easter City Love initiatives was to work with the homeless community.

We decided to give our murals a fresh look for Easter as a part of our Easter Citylove Initiative.

One of the Citylove projects we did to show kindness to the city was put together fun boxes for ten amazing organizations making a difference in the neighborhood. It was extremely difficult to pick just ten!

This Sunday (Palm Sunday) we celebrated 9 people making a public declaration of their commitment to follow Christ during our Baptism service! Here are some photos and videos from the baptisms:

The RENkids Valley area now has an interactive prayer wall!

About 40 women attended last weekend's Women Worship + Prayer Night at Ren. It was a beautiful night of worshipping and sharing and praying together.

We are designing our Easter services this year not only for those who already believe but also for the many in our city who might be described as spiritually curious. So come and experience God’s love. A new life is possible!

This year we want to take our support of missionaries to another level and have decided to form a group who will work together to learn about the missionary of the month, pray for the missionary and think about fresh ways to be a blessing to the missionary.

RENkids held the first of our quarterly trainings for volunteers the night of Thursday, February 1st. Becky Pracht, a longtime Ren member, is very knowledgeable and experienced in Behavior and Classroom Management with children and did some teaching and sharing on this topic.

Over the last week the ministers, staff and elders have been reviewing the service time surveys and trying to decide what is best.
