In May we held a memorial service to remember Derek’s life. Derek meant a lot to people at Ren and the surrounding community. Many remember his warm greeting at the front door of Ren, his hard-working, generous spirit. Pastor Scott, Asa Sohn, Ellie Goldberg, and best friend Marc Williams shared a few memories, and attendees could write down their own of Derek to be put in a memory book for his family. It was a special service remembering our friend who made many feel valued, important and protected. We miss you, Derek.
