At Ren the Core is another word for membership. Sometimes we call it Core Membership. The Core are those who have made a decision to make Ren their church and are devoted to playing their part well. It's a covenant of sorts between the pastors/elders and the people. Besides holding fast to essential Christian doctrine (Nicene Creed), Core members are devoted to gathering, to giving, to serving, to being gracious toward others, to inviting people to the church and praying.
For those who are part of the 2016 Core and for those who are ready to be I want to invite you to a special gathering on Sunday October 16th 4-6 pm. This will be a time of discussing vision, finances and community matters. We will also set aside some time for worship and prayer to prepare us for this next season. RSVP by emailing Pastor Scott. THERE WILL BE NO CHILDCARE FOR THIS GATHERING. WHILE CHILDCARE WOULD BE IDEAL IT’S VERY DIFFICULT TO PROVIDE SINCE MOST OF OUR KIDS WORKERS ARE CORE MEMBERS.
